Ball handling
Handles are a small alphabet, not a secret combo list. Z, C, X, and V cover the ground moves. Shift is the burst. On a pad, the right stick plus RT or R2 does the moving work, and the d-pad covers moves while your feet are set. A dribble guide’s PC column was icon-only when it was captured, so the letters here follow TechWiser and Gamepur, which were readable text.
What to actually practice
Chain a change of direction to a hand on purpose. A crossover that leaves the ball in a random hand makes the next hesi or spin come out backwards. Keep each rep short. Holding sprint through a long isolation drains stamina and, in the takeover notes, slows the meter that is supposed to fill from useful actions. Pretty chains that last ten seconds are how you arrive at the rim tired.
Behind-the-back, tween, and shammgod sit in the same family as the hesi and the cross. I am not assigning each one a private key beyond the Z/C/X/V family, because the icon table did not survive as text. If you need a named escape, start with X for a stepback and XX for a snatchback, which the text charts do spell out, then return to the moves index for the hand rule.
People asking “how to ball handle” usually want permission to iso. The guides give the opposite advice: one or two moves to create a passing lane or a shot, then get rid of it. A 81 handle on a build is the line one guide ties to Curry Slide. Below that, the fancy escape simply is not in the package, and no amount of stick flicking adds it.
FAQ
How do you dribble?
Z, C, X, and V on PC, with Shift for a burst. Right stick and RT on a controller.
Why does my stamina vanish?
Long isolations while sprinting. The notes tie that to a slower takeover meter as well.
Do I use the same hesi key in both hands?
No. The two PC charts list C for a right-hand hesi and Z for a left-hand hesi; the opposite key crosses over.
