Privacy policy
This policy describes what practicalbasketball.pro actually loads on 2 Nov 2026. The operator is Practical Basketball Pro. Contact [email protected].
Default loading and your choice
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads load by default, before a banner choice. Reject switches them off, reloads this page to stop already running scripts, and remembers the decision in this browser for 180 days. Accept keeps them enabled. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the choice. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is treated as Reject. The YouTube player loads only when you press a video play button.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 measures page views and traffic. The tag comes from googletagmanager.com and sends measurement requests to google-analytics.com. Its documented cookie names include _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Our Google Consent Mode v2 default sets analytics_storage to granted and ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied before configuration; ads_data_redaction is enabled. Reject sets all four signals to denied, disables collection, and prevents the Google tag from loading on later visits while the choice is valid. Accept grants all four signals.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity provides session replays and heatmaps to help us improve the guides. The loader requests clarity.ms/tag/ followed by our project identifier, with supporting requests to scripts.clarity.ms and collection endpoints under clarity.ms. Microsoft documents first-party cookies _clck and _clsk and third-party cookies CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM. Clarity can apply masking to sensitive content; this policy does not describe recordings as anonymous or promise that every text field is masked. Reject sends denied consent signals to Clarity, pauses the recorder and prevents its loader from running after the page reload.
Adsterra advertising
We use Adsterra publisher 3403020 with NativeBanner_1 (unit 32047403) and SocialBar_1 (unit 32047404), both requested from bicea.org by default. Our saved integration configuration has adult advertising disabled. In the 2 Nov browser audit, delivered ads additionally requested cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.cloudpiko.com, static.nresystems.com and fonts.googleapis.com. Microsoft Clarity also requested c.bing.com. These supporting hosts serve ad creative, fonts, delivery and measurement; campaign delivery hosts can change. Adsterra and its demand partners can use cookies and network requests for advertising, frequency capping and fraud prevention. We have no fixed, independently verified cookie-name or retention list for every campaign, so those values are left unspecified here. Reject stops these loaders and reloads the page to stop scripts that were already running. Closing the Social Bar separately remembers only that display preference.
YouTube
Trailer buttons show an image we host. The privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com is created when you press play, because a video has to be requested to play. That request is YouTube’s, for showing the video; Google may set YouTube cookies at that point. We do not load the player before that click. See https://policies.google.com/privacy for Google’s handling. This click is a request to play the video, not a consent gate for analytics or ads.
Cookies and localStorage
| Name | Type / owner | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| pb_consent | localStorage, first party | Remembers an explicit Accept or Reject: ad_storage, analytics_storage and a timestamp. | Honoured for 180 days; an expired record is ignored and the banner reappears. |
| pb_socialbar_closed | localStorage, first party | Remembers that you closed the Adsterra Social Bar so it does not return on reload. | Until you clear site data; checked on every visit. |
| _ga, _ga_<container-id> | cookies, Google Analytics 4 | Browser and session identifiers described in Google documentation. | See the cookie expiry shown by your browser; no site-specific expiry was independently measured. |
| _clck, _clsk | first-party cookies, Microsoft Clarity | User preferences and linking page views into a recording. | See browser expiry; the official cookie list does not state a fixed retention for this site. |
| CLID, ANONCHK, MR, SM, MUID | third-party cookies, Microsoft | Microsoft identity, cookie synchronisation and advertising-related functions. | See browser expiry and Microsoft privacy terms. |
| Campaign-dependent; no fixed names claimed | cookies or storage, Adsterra / demand partners | Ad delivery, frequency capping and fraud prevention. |
This site has no account registration. Hosting and third-party providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and page URLs when serving content. We have not established a site-specific server-log retention period and do not publish an estimated one. Email sent to our contact address is processed to respond to the message.
Privacy choices and local requirements
The default-on behaviour described above is how this build operates. A banner notice is not a substitute for affirmative consent wherever local law requires it. Contact us with a privacy question or objection. Reject prevents this site from loading its analytics, replay and ad scripts for 180 days in the browser where the choice was made; it does not retroactively erase information already sent to providers. Cookie settings lets you change the choice.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Email [email protected]. We do not have an account database, so most requests resolve to the consent record and any email you sent. You can complain to your local data-protection authority. We review requests using the applicable privacy requirements and may need information to identify the relevant message or browser data.
Changes
The date under the title is the date this text changed. A material change, such as a new script or a new cookie name, updates that date and this list in the same release. The current list covers Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Adsterra and YouTube; advertising partners may make further delivery requests as described above.
FAQ
Do you load ads and analytics before I click Accept?
Yes. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load by default. The banner tells you and lets you withdraw; Reject stops them and is remembered for 180 days.
How do I change my choice?
Use Cookie settings in the footer, then Accept or Reject. The record is localStorage key pb_consent.
What advertising is configured?
NativeBanner_1 and SocialBar_1 under publisher 3403020. Adult advertising is disabled in the saved configuration. Report an unsuitable creative to [email protected].
